Graham and Balsam Lake ( Moderate)
Graham and Balsam Lake are part of the Catskill 3500 Required hikes. Depending on the route chosen the Hike can between 7.4 miles and 10 miles. Graham is a Trail less hike to a old WWII radio repeater station which is now no longer in use. The hike to the summit has some steep sections and views of the valley below can be seen from the summit. This is a great intro hike for those wishing to trail less summits. Balsam Lake has a Old fire tower and caretaker cabin on the summit and you can climb up the tower for 360 degree views of the catskills. Boots are required for this hike and the level of Difficulty Moderate. Meet: in front of Zaro's breadbasket, across from the 6 train, Parkchester - E177th Street station
