Beginner Sewing Workshop
In this Beginner Sewing Workshop I will be starting from the ground up covering the following topics: -Teaching you the basics of the machine, such as, the different parts, how to run your top string, how to load your bobbin, adjusting tension, as well as basic trouble shooting. -Getting you comfortable with the machine. I will have practice exercises planned to help you get comfortable with using the foot pedal. These exercises will help with your line work by creating straight lines, circles and curves, and squares. -I will also have a beginner sewing project for you. I will be showing you how to make a simple yet durable reversible tote bag so that you have something to show for all of your hard work :) For this class I would prefer that you provide your own machine, just so that you get familiar with what you intend to create other wonderful projects on. If you do not have your own machine I will have 2 available for you to use. To be able to provide you with the one on one attention that you deserve, this class will be limited to 3 people. This Class will run $35 per person. Once you have signed up and confirmed your spot I will send you a small supply list just to make sure that everyone is properly prepared for class. I will also be requesting your sewing machine make and model at that time so that I can make sure I am educated on your machine.
