Fitness on the blacktop
Welcome back to blacktop and prepare to relive the glory days of recess. This class will develop your agility and increase your quickness. These exercises come directly from the training camps of professional athletes and will, no doubt, push you to the limit. Here is an overview of just a few of the exercises: -- "Suicides" basketball drills to increase cardiovascular capacity, --"Bucket bunnies" lunges and bounds to increase vertical and cardiovascular abilities, -- Cone drills fashioned after NBA scouting combines, -- 3-man weave adapted to the overall intensity of the group, -- Long-range sprints to increase if cardiovascular strength. We will end the class with competitive cool down techniques, an overview of a standard meal plan and nutritional guidelines for a healthy lifestyle.
I'm a former collegiate athlete that has turned to personal training to better both myself and others. All workouts are completed by myself so no workouts are for "filler", no one sits out and watches unless they are seriously injured. Not "sore" but actually injuried. I train intense. I train like an elite athlete to become an elite athlete. The basis of the class overall is athleticism, not just one sport or skilled area. Its intensity is fashioned after cross fit, the drills are so precise and effective results are guaranteed within a week.
