Train like a professional athlete with a sports-orientated fitness plan that combines the rigorous workouts from your favorite sports. This class will build your endurance and increase your agility by utilizing the same cardiovascular exercises used by professional athletes. Here are the sports exercises we will use: -- American Football: We will focus on incline sprints, interval sprints, and the "3 cone drill" completed by NFL hopefuls at the yearly NFL combine -- Basketball: Resistance band training and explosion drills will increase your vertical leap and lunge distance. -- Baseball: Batting and fielding drills will increase your body control and hand-eye coordination. -- Hockey: The slap shot drill will isolate and strengthen your core muscle groups -- Tennis: Footwork and technical exercises will increase your range and quickness. We will end the class with competitive cool down techniques, an overview of a standard meal plan and nutritional guidelines for a healthy lifestyle. *Please consult a physician before beginning rigorous activity. Participants are expected to be in GREAT physical shape in order to gain full range of motion via unconventional stretches and to prevent injury.
I'm a former collegiate athlete that has turned to personal training to better both myself and others. All workouts are completed by myself so no workouts are for "filler", no one sits out and watches unless they are seriously injured. Not "sore" but actually injuried. I train intense. I train like an elite athlete to become an elite athlete. The basis of the class overall is athleticism, not just one sport or skilled area. Its intensity is fashioned after cross fit, the drills are so precise and effective results are guaranteed within a week.
