About Your Host

THE COMPANION TEACHING KITCHEN is a community learning center located inside of our West St. Louis baking campus. The Kitchen is truly the place where we can "break more bread" through hands-on classes, chef-driven demonstrations, culinary book signings and special events. Our diverse team of teachers all come from professional culinary backgrounds and possess an innate desire to share their knowledge and their experiences with the community. We are focused on raising the bar of culinary opportunities for the home cook/baker through unique offerings of savory, sweet, bread and pastry classes inside of our brand new classroom. We promise you'll leave our classes with great new skills, the joy of baking and cooking and an armful of goodies you've created yourself.

What we'll do

This class features the incredible pairings of three wonderful things - beer, bacon and bourbon! Don't miss out on this fun, entertaining and educational experience. Menu: Bacon-Cheddar Drop Biscuits Farmhouse Ale Beer Bread Bourbon Butter Cake BONUS RECIPES: Ploughman's Platter Not only will you get to learn how to make all sorts of baked goods and get to enjoy them in class, but you will also be able to take home a bag full of goodies from the class. This class includes a snack and light meal. Hands-On Class 2.5 hours
