Students will learn to make the following lentil soups: - Masoor Dal (orange/split lentils with a tomato, garlic and onion tardka/tempering) - Channa Dal with OPO squash - Dal Makhani (whole black urad lentils with red kidney beans in a buttery, cream sauce) Note: We will also make Basmati rice to accompany the Dals.
