Ready to tackle a brand new skill or take your current jewelry arts to the next level? This class was created so students may become comfortable with a torch. (Yep, a torch! But don't worry! There’s nothing to be nervous about...) In 3.5-hours, the curriculum covers the “how” and “why” of jewelry soldering by combining an overview of the tools, techniques and process + hands-on practice. Each student will use 2 different metals to fabricate textured stacking rings, and if time allows, your Instructor will demonstrate a third metal. You should also expect to have fun, meet interesting people and leave with the skills & knowledge to work independently! After taking this class, students have options for growth. Check-out our Bezel Setting Class, Tube Setting, Earrings Workshop and Gold-Fill Workshop. Take one, take all. We love to see our students succeed and grow in the craft.
