Let’s take control of this Covid-19 isolation and make the most of it! This class is now available online via ZOOM. Are you with me? First things, first: This is not a class for beginners. You must have jewelry soldering experience with a torch. Now then, let’s take those Beginning Soldering skills and build on them to create beautiful and professional pieces for securely capturing a flat-backed, soft gemstone. You’ll learn the entire process from fabricating and joining the components, to the finishing processes with various compounds and tools. At the end of the class, you’ll have a sweet, sophisticated ring to add to your set of stackers. (And you know I throw-in a bunch of tips and tricks for added value!) Once I accept your booking through Verlocal, I will email you a list of tools/materials that are required to achieve success. On your end, please honor the usual Safety Requirements: • Closed-toed, low-heeled or no-heeled shoes • Comfortable “play-clothes”. No flowing sleeves or too much bulk • Long hair must be worn in a bun or ponytail • Protective eyewear must be worn If you like this technique, be sure to take a look at our other stone-setting class listings on Verlocal: Intro to Prongs, Tube Setting Faceted Stones and Flush Setting, AKA Gypsy Setting. Each presents the opportunity to learn new techniques so our artists may grow and thrive! Location: Via ZOOM in the August Axel Jewelry Studio, Peachtree City, GA See you soon, virtually?
