Experience BIG SUR like a native.
One or two day overnight trip to Big Sur, the majestic secret of California's coast. Most people drive down HWY 1 and see Julia Pfeiffer waterfall, a few art galleries, and the beautiful scenery. On our trip you will discover secret beaches, hike above the clouds, find animal skulls, and camp at a secret spot overlooking the mighty ocean below you. Weekdays are preferred. Be prepared for strenuous activity. We can meet anywhere between San Francisco and Monterey. I will provide wetsuits and gear for the ocean, snorkeling, and camping. Depending on group size we can travel in my Toyota Prius or Toyota RV, both fantastic road machines. When you sign up, get in touch and together we can coordinate meals and snacks depending on your preferences. Group size of 1-6 people. The more the merrier. I have led bachelor parties, couples, and many friends into the wilderness of Big Sur. It's always an adventure. Highlights: - Seeking and finding the largest underwater arch in California. - Camping on a secluded and private tiny beach. - The solitude of Ventana Wilderness. - A hidden ridge, with 180 views of sunset over the Pacific. - Spearfishing lingcod and eating fresh ceviche two hours later. - Pulling over to see whales and condors. Hope this sounds as fun to you as it has been to me the last 20 years. Look forward to meeting you! Willy.
Born in New York City and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I loved the wilderness and was always in it. My first mentor was a bear of a man named Tim Corcoran with Headwaters Outdoor School. I highly recommend seeing the woods with this man. College in Virginia. Met my wonderful wife Brynn and brought her out west. I work remodeling homes and trailer parks. Interesting and, to me, beautiful work. I love to cook, especially when it involves getting creative with leftovers. I eat well and exercise constantly, playing soccer, volleyball, surfing, tennis, backpacking and anything else I can get my hands on. Winter camping is a new thing that I love but is quite dangerous, I'm signed up to get Level 1 Avalanche certification this winter. I am 32 years old. Most likely, in whatever we do, my dog Norman will be joining us (unless you are allergic!). He is a great pup.
