FORMULATING CUSTOM ORGANIC BODY CREAMS
Early-bird pricing extended! Only 3 spots left - sign up today! This course is Organic * Vegan * Cruelty-Free * Beginner to Intermediate Class This is the first time I've offered a workshop where you will be formulating your own body cream. Typically we work together as a class and make one batch for everyone to take home. I've been guided by Spirit to offer this class to empower each student to create their own sacred body cream. You will incorporate elements of nature including a custom essential oil blend. In this energy-inspired workshop you will learn holistic approaches to using wildcrafted botanicals and healing modalities in body creams. You will make a customized batch of body cream (enough to fill two large jars) to take home with a signature scent that you create yourself. I hope you will join me. ~Marla When you think of your favorite place in nature, whether it's a city park or your backyard, there is an energy we can capture and create "blueprints" of that feeling. We then infuse it with our energy and botanicals (and more) from that area to capture that feeling for ourself (a reminder as we use the product later) or share with others (as gifts or in a product line). This is much deeper and sacred than just calling our creams "infused" or "infused with energy." Marla will share with you what she has been doing for a lifetime as an alchemist. This class is intended for green beauty formulators as well as healers, lightworkers, massage therapists, yoga enthusiasts, and anyone interested in wildcrafting, alchemy, energy healing and sacred earth energies. Student will receive hands-on experience, an information-packed class handout withdetailed instructions, formulas, formulating guidelines and a valuable supplier list. What we will cover: How to formulate a great body cream Adding botanicals and nature elements to creams Infusing healing modalities into your bodycare products How to troubleshoot if your formula separates Different emulsifiers and how to choose which ones to use How to adjust your formula if it feels too greasy Optional safe cosmetic colors to use Safety usage rate of essential oils The best temperatures with which to work Adding botanicals and nature elements to creams Formulating for different skin types More of What Makes This Workshop Special: A small, intimate class of 10 likeminded students. Each student will bring out their inner alchemist by making their own batch of cream from scratch. You'll also create your own essential oil blend. Marla creates high experential workshops - a holistic perspective of learning by transforming new information. If you've ever attended any of her classes you know the energy she creates is positive, supportive, educational and fun. Marla is the CEO of Back Porch Soap Company.
