Come and experience a fabulous energizing weekend: learn to cook luscious farm to table, organic vegetarian meals with Leslie Cerier in the beautiful woods in Western Massachusetts! Your personalized visit will include: Hands on cooking classes: time saving tips, knife skills, seasonal substitutions Opportunities to expand your cooking repertoire with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, super foods for health and vitality Culinary Nutrition Consultation Harvest fresh from the garden or trip to farmers’ market Optional seasonal activities: Hiking, swimming, biking, cross-country skiing, trip to Leslie’s CSA For additional fee: facials, massage, yoga instruction, transportation to and from the airport (must be reserved in advance) Sample Schedule: Friday: 6PM: Arrival; Prepared dinner by Leslie Saturday: 9:30AM; Prepared breakfast by Leslie 11:00-2PM; Hands-on cooking class and lunch 2:00-4:30PM; Free time: Optional: Hike, swim, rest, or wellness treatment 4:30-8:30PM; Hands-on cooking class and dinner with nutrition consultation Sunday: 9:30-11AM; Optional cooking class or breakfast prepared by Leslie; Wrap-up 12:00PM departure Throughout the weekend there will be plenty of time for you to ask Leslie questions about your personal diet, get cooking tips, and learn how to prepare globally inspired meals with the local harvest. For over 30 years, Leslie Cerier, “The Organic Gourmet” Chef has been teaching culinary nutrition and hands-on vegetarian cooking for health and vitality, writing cookbooks focusing on eating local, seasonal, organic foods that are not just good for you, but also pleasurable, delicious and good for the planet. Leslie is also a gourmet personal chef/caterer specializing in whole foods and organic cuisine. Her robust New England based business includes custom culinary work for private clients as well as private and group cooking instruction and coaching around the world. Leslie is a pioneer and national authority on gluten-free cooking and baking, the entire spectrum of whole grains, and cooking with wild foods. Her specialty in grains has led to her being much sought after by health professionals and private clients to coach and help them translate challenging dietary allergy issues into culinary success and meal satisfaction. Award-winning photographer and environmentalist, Leslie’s Impressionistic artwork is hung in hospitals and in private collections. Leslie Cerier is the author of six cookbooks. She has developed recipes for many organic and natural food companies. Leslie has a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in Movement Sciences and Education and has taught at Barnard College, Columbia University, Eastern Kentucky University, Sarah Lawrence College, Amherst College, and Hampshire College.
