This is the game-changing, stigma-smashing blend of vinyasa-style yoga, body-weight based functional fitness movements, and high intensity interval training.
The combination delivers significant results that go well beyond the benefits of a typical yoga class. The class is designed specifically for men, but open to all since many women also find the program "addictive" - and they are more than welcome!
Strong, energetic, and challenging, Broga® Yoga combines the best core-strengthening, muscle-toning, cardio-working, stress-reducing, clarity-enhancing yoga postures with functional fitness exercises for an amazing workout. Broga® Yoga is designed for people who might not be able to touch their toes, but want to train like an athlete.

Jonathan's interest in the fitness industry first piqued when he wanted to add cross training activities to benefit his triathlon training while a student at Dartmouth Medical School. Almost instantly, this translated into a passion for personal training and teaching fitness classes. For more than 19 years, Jonathan has been continually teaching a wide-range of fitness classes throughout many prestigious gyms in Boston and New England. His personal fitness philosophy is that cross training is absolutely key to keep your muscles guessing and should be incorporated into any fitness regimen as a long-term strategy to maintain a healthy mind and body.
Jonathan retired from his biomedical career as a neuropathologist in 2011 and has since refocused his time and energy to helping others become fit in all aspects their life through exercise. Since founding and opening BURN Fitness Studios in 2014, Jonathan has been in The Boston Globe, The Improper Bostonian, Boston Magazine, and Bianca Unanchored and is recognized throughout the Boston community as a top fitness professional who is known for his positive outlook and motivational coaching skills.
