Skip the Lines at The Broad Museum
Event date: Tuesday, June 28, 12:45 p.m. - as long as you want to stay One of the hottest tickets in town! And we get to bypass the long line to get in! The Broad is the new contemporary art museum on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. It was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler. The museum is home to the 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. With its innovative “veil-and-vault” concept, the 120,000-square-foot building features two floors of gallery space to showcase the museum's collection. The cost is $7 per person, as The Broad charges for group tours. We will be met by a Visitor Services Representative at the entry, and then we'll enter the museum to explore on our own. The Broad does not allow lecturing in the museum, so unfortunately I will not be able to lead a tour. Please arrive by 12:40 so that I can check you in and then we can enter the museum at 1:00 p.m. I look forward to seeing you there!
