Join this class to learn the dos and don'ts of leatherworking for beginners!
Leather Work 101 is a solid introduction to leather work. There are 4 projects to choose from and a variety of leathers and hardware. You can modify and create your own patterns as well.
This is a fun, easy class and gives you a chance to make a few things out of leather like a cuff, a clutch or a belt you can give as gifts or just wear and enjoy yourself. Set a snap, attach a rivet, install eyelets. All materials, hardware and use of tools are included in the tuition.

ABOUT THE CHICAGO SCHOOL OF SHOEMAKING
We are dedicated to teaching the art of hand-making shoes and leather goods to promote self-sufficiency and sustainability. Our goal is to empower all people to enjoy a satisfying and liberating experience around creating footwear and leather work.
"Buy a pair of shoes and you cover your feet for a year or two. Learn how to make shoes and you can shoe yourself, family and friends for a lifetime." :))
We use non-toxic glue while assembling the shoe uppers and shoemaking cement to attach the outer sole. We have an exhaust hood to limit exposure to any chemicals.
