New To Sewing - Learn to make a reversible headband!
Have you always wanted to learn the wonderful craft of sewing but not sure where to begin? Well, this is the right class for you then. This class is perfect for someone who doesn’t know how to thread a machine or for someone who hasn't sewn for quite sometime and need to brush up on terms and skills. During this 3 hour beginner class, we will cover topics ranging from picking fabrics & supplies, understanding and operating sewing machine & troubleshooting it, basic sewing techniques and finally using everything you’ve learned to make your own reversible fabric headband. Here’s what we’ll provide you during the class: - A sewing machine (let me know in advance if you want to bring your own) - All of the tools & supplies to make the headband At the end of the class, you will walk away with the a headband that we’ll make together and of course all the wonderful knowledge you can use for your future sewing creations! The class will be held at Botene Studio in Wrigleyville. Since this is a hybrid workshop/studio space, there will be limited capacity in each class All the materials will be provided in this class.
