Having studied and worked in fashion, I am always wanting to up date my closet with new items. However, my wallet doesn't always allow for that. Therefore, I have become a huge proponent of "recycling" clothing through the concept of fashion swaps. It's a great way to learn about people through their style while adding new, gently used items to your own wardrobe. Additionally, it's a fantastic way to make the fashion industry more sustainable by extending the life cycle of clothing by sharing your old pieces with someone new. I am looking for a variety of sizes and items from women (only). Acceptable items can include shoes, bottoms, accessories (scarves, hats, jewelry), tops, dresses, etc. More variety = more fun but I think everyone should bring a minimum of 5 separate pieces to the mix. Also, the items MUST be gently-worn...no holes (unless that is part of the original style), no funky smells (wash items before bringing them!), and other things of that nature. I am asking for a $10 fee to supply drinks and food for this little get together! Besides, $10 is a great deal when you will end the night with some new clothing to add to your closet! :)
I'm a contradictory mix between loud & quiet. I love fashion, cats, and sharing new experiences with friends and strangers alike.
