Kids Creative Movement (Pre K - K)
The primary purpose of the Simantikos "Creative Movement" class is to help students gain: Beginning level recognition of basic dance alignment and posture, knowledge of dance vocabulary, and ability to mimic movement and emotion/feeling/mood. Structured similarly to a creative movement class, this course provides students with an overview of the movements their bodies are capable of producing, while incorporating the basics of structured dance. Exercises will emphasize the importance of self-control by underscoring the fact that dance is a silent language and respecting personal space is necessary in successfully completing dance feats. Note: The estimated duration of this class is 45 minutes.
