In this 2.5 hour class, students will learn how to draw six different types of Zentangle designs with simple step by step instructions.
WHAT ZENTANGLE IS:
-A positive outlook and “no mistakes in art” focuses on what can be done with easy designs that turn into beautiful art.
- A way to reducing stress. Gaining focus and relaxation are some of the benefits.
-Its small size format provides the student with quick results and makes the art easily portable.
-An art form that friends and family can share and bond over together.
-With just a few materials (markers, pencils and paper) this art form can be quickly mastered and provide developing artists an affordable lifelong hobby.

My mission for 2016 is to introduce Zentangle (Drawing Method) to as many people in the Chicago area as possible. Art should be for the people and by the people. Everyone can be an artist, and Zentangle shows you the way. I currently teach Zentangle at two Senior Centers for the City of Chicago. I also teach a class at Mathers- More than a Café. I have also taught a series of classes at the Harold Washington Library. I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher in good standing and have been teaching the Zentangle Method since January of 2014. I am living the "Art Life", during the weekdays I teach Zentangle and run a coloring book class and on the weekends I work for another artist selling his artwork. My whole work life revolves around Art. And I couldn't be happier. Take my class, relax and have some fun. One of my mottos is "Draw Almost Everyday".
