Tarot 101/201: Learn & Practice
The Tarot is a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation. In this two-part pay-what-you-will introductory session, we'll explore a bit of its history and symbols, then talk about the ways in which the cards can harness the natural intuition we all possess to provide insight and clarity around relationships, life changes, family, career, health, and more. PART 1: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We'll cover the basics of reading the cards, discussing the basic spreads and techniques to get started. PART 2: 6:30 to 8 p.m. For folks who already know the basics or who attended Tarot 101 -- we will go deeper into the meaning of the cards and do some hands-on practice. Feel free to attend one or both parts of the session! *** A limited number of cards will be available for use during the session; if you have your own deck, please bring it. If you will need to borrow a deck, please indicate this in your RSVP. We'll gather at my place in Logan Square -- address will be provided with your confirmation. Please note that we are on the third floor, with only stair access.
