Please do NOT request to book with less than 24 hours of advance notice! The workshop looks at how coaching is used to define and develop future leaders in an organisation. Differences between managing, coaching and mentoring (often used interchangeably) are clearly defined. The workshop uses the GROW model to define each stage in the coaching session, identify the right questions to ask, build coaching skills and illustrate potential coaching situations. We clear stereotypes by looking at past and present views of a coach and a coachee, offer tips for the coach prior to a coaching session, and most importantly, identify when not to coach. The workshop begins with an exercise and closes with a coaching skills assessment to take home for future reference. The length of the workshop depends on the needs of attendants and can last up to 90 minutes. The workshop would benefit every manager, business owner and/or HR personnel. Although it is build for a business environment, the teachings in this workshop would also benefit those looking into their personal relationships with a spouse, family and friends.
