A fun FOUR WEEK CLASS held in Seattle, Washington! Crash Course in Filmmaking Saturdays 12:30pm-2:30pm 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 (four meetings) Your tuition payment covers all four meetings. University of Washington campus. This class has free parking. Want to learn the basics of filmmaking, but not ready to spend $100,000 or more for film school? This focused five-week class will teach you the key basics that'll get you started at a tuition you can afford. In this class, you'll learn: • how to use camera angles to tell your story • how to record high quality audio, • how to use lighting to give your film a more professional look. • how to find actors and crew members to help you out with your movie • and how to find a camcorder or DSLR that has the features you want at a price you can afford. • what kind of editing software will give you the best results • how to get your movies distributed when they're completed See also: "Let's Make a Movie," also on Verlocal, taught by the same instructor.
