I've taught folks of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Just make sure your camera is a DSLR or mirrorless camera, take it out of the box, and fiddle a bit with the buttons and controls beforehand. I'll take it from there! - It definitely helps to have goals! Photography is pretty broad and it definitely helps to have a focus — shooting better landscapes, birds in the yard, better portraits, travel photos, etc. That way I can cater my advice towards those things! - Get ready for tons of info! Photography's super complex, but as long as you're driven, you'll have no problem picking it up with my help What to bring: - Your camera of course, charged batteries, memory cards, pen, paper - Questions! - Optional: sample shots! One of the best ways to get better is to learn how to improve what you've already done. Bring the shots you'd like to improve and I'll tell you how! You, me, cameras, notepads, and some coffee.
