Learn to make gnocchi from scratch!
In this class you will learn the secrets of potato gnocchi so light they dissolve on your tongue! Nothing you can buy even comes close. And the best part about it is that it is ridiculoulsy easy! You will also learn to make other dishes with your gnocchi dough, such as strocollo (a filled and baked gnocchi roll), chifeletti (gnocchi fritters) and even dessert gnocchi! All of our classes are hands on and limited in size so that everyone has plenty of personal attention. After the class, enjoy a glass of wine and the good company of other students as we share a meal of the gnocchi we've made together. Finally, take home a few servings of your own tender dumplings to share with family and friends.
One of my earliest memories is of peering up over the edge of the kitchen table to watch my grandmother roll out sheets of pasta dough so thin you could see though them. These she cut with a knife into great piles of golden ribbons that would be our dinner later that night. So, you see, I literally learned to make pasta at my grandmother's knee. That was many years ago and since that time I have passed those skills on to my own children and grandchildren. Now I would love the chance to share them with you.
