In April 2015, food sales at restaurants and bars overtook that of consumer grocery store spending for the first time since 1992, according to the Commerce Department. The fallout is that not only are more Americans living paycheck to paycheck, spending half of their food dollars on dining out, but 70 percent of Americans are also overweight or obese and at risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer due to the calorie-dense, salt -and sugar-rich foods made from low quality ingredients consumed at dining establishments. This class will teach you how to make a delicious, nutritious and budget-friendly meal even if you're busy, time-crunched or have no experience in the kitchen so you can prioritize your health, nourish your body and reach your health and wellness goals.
