I grew up in Delhi, the heart of India, not only famous for its cultural lineage but also, it's culinary heritage. In India cooking is a part of growing up, I learnt cooking from my grandmother. We used to cook many famous Indian dishes but my favorite has always been Chole Bhature (Chickpeas Curry served with Rice and Fluffy Pan Cakes). Chole Bhature is a delicious breakfast or lunch, generally served with onions, carrot pickle, mint chutney and achaar. Chole Bhature as breakfast was invented in Delhi post partition and nowadays, it is popular breakfast around north-west India and other parts of the Country. In this 2-hour hands-on class, we will learn how to make this delicious meal, Chole (chickpeas curry - Indian style), Bhature (Fried bread, made of all purpose flour), mint chutney (healthy chutney using mint, coriander, Indian herbs) and the side salad. I welcome you all to learn, savor and enjoy the experience of making this wholesome and mouthwatering dish.
