Do you have kids between the ages of 7 and 14 who want to learn to crochet? Then let them come learn with us! No prior experience with crochet is required to join in our basic class series. We'll start with the absolute basics and they'll be allowed to work at their own pace, with the option to learn a multitude of stitches to create different fabrics suitable for all kinds of projects, including potholders, scarves, and even hats. ** Please Note: the class is divided into 3 sessions, 1.5 hours each, over 3 consecutive Saturdays. Required Supplies: - Each student will need 100 grams of worsted weight yarn. Yarn weight information can be found on most labels - look for the word "Worsted" or a little symbol that looks like a yarn ball with the number 4 on it, or the word "medium". - You will also need a US Size H/5mm or I/5.5mm crochet hook. We recommend Susan Bates brand hooks. - You can bring the yarn and/or hook from home if you happen to have them, or borrow them from our shop for free (but you must leave them after the class), but we recommend that you purchase them from our shop before the class. We'll set you up with the right supplies for learning as well as future projects, plus you get a 10% discount on anything you wish to purchase. *If you need to purchase supplies please arrive 15-20 minutes before class starts.* *Cancellation Policy* You must cancel your class reservation at least 72 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled after the 72 hour limit has passed will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, either by partial refund or by rescheduling.
