I am a Bay Area based Fashion Designer and, now, teacher. Through many request from friends wanting to learn how to sew and or draw - in July 2015 - I finally created my first Fashion Art workshop, as a community project to give back. I didn’t expect much, however, the class turnout was more than I expected among young makers. I created My Fashion Design Kit to share my love for fashion design to empowering young makers ages 8-16 to find their creative self-expression and provide them with the industry tools. My series of courses students discover their talent to draw and sketch patterns. At the next level, they become equip with skills to run the machine and gain mastery in the basics of sewing and design. My mission is to encourage young makers to dream and be the creators of those dreams.
