Alba Method: A somatic approach to understanding the physiology of emotion.
For Actors, Directors, & Everyone interested in Emotional Awareness *Please note that this class is in Pasadena. Alba is a somatic approach to accessing emotions. Adopt the "Effector Patterns" comprised of physical postures, breathing patterns, and muscle engagement to safely and repeatedly access emotions at a range of levels. Alba is a toolkit to add to your technique, whatever method you use. What you will learn 1. Self awareness of emotional habits 2. Step-Out, a resetting of the system, aids in recovering from an emotional pattern 3. 6 basic emotions (universal) - Effector Patterns 4. Scaling emotions 5.
