YOGA NIDRA for Sleeping Like a (Happy!) Baby
You will take off shoes at the door and enter a serene , intimate , lovely private yoga room with an ancient oak tree vista (daytime/twinkle lights by night) . After settling in, introduction /explanations, you will lay down on a yoga mat and blanket(sitting up in chair is an option) , cover up with a cozy blanket,cover your eyes with an eye pillow (optional) and be guided with a melodic voice and soothing bell into a visualization journey that will unwind and release layers of stress while remaining fully awake and conscious. You will emerge about 40 min later amazingly relaxed and refreshed... and tapped into a new sense of expanded well being. Journaling or sharing/discussing your experience is optional. For custom bookings, reflecting on your experience by making (guided) art may be an option. YOGA NIDRA is an ancient, specific, guided deep relaxation practice and training ACCESSIBLE and for EVERYONE. It is very well researched and is now used by the USA military to treat PTSD and other stress conditions. You do not need to have a sleep issue or PTSD to benefit! YOGA NIDRA addresses all stress related issues by re-training the nervous system to even recognize what real relaxation feels like and establishes this as your new normal...
