Have you always wanted to learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch? Come join me for a delicious journey into pasta making and discover how easy it is to make fresh pasta at home easily and inexpensively. In this hands-on intro class located at Tin Canyon Farm, you'll be learning traditional pasta making from several of the 20 regions in Italy. We'll even make some from my family's region. You'll learn about flavors, flours, and shapes as well as experiment with different colors and methods. By the end of the class, you should be able to successfully make several shapes by hand (no machine or special equipment needed) and have a good understanding of pasta sauce pairings. You'll even be able to even take a little pasta home for the family! This class is a hearty three hours and includes all of the materials you need. Helpful info: Gluten free option available - just let me know when you book. Learning about ravioli, gnocchi, and dumplings are not included in the class though we'll "briefly" touch on them. They really warrant their own classes which I'll offer a little later in the Summer.
