About Your Host

Jess is a Chef, Cookbook Author, Herbalist, and outspoken food security and agriculture activist. She's the owner of Tin Canyon Farm, an Escargot & Mushroom farm, where she cultivates, cooks, and holds personal retreats. She draws her inspiration from her diverse cultural background, a family history with deep roots in food, and the natural mountain environment that surrounds her.

What we'll do

In this next more intermediate (but still accessible!) pasta making class, we are going to make 3 different types of ravioli and their respective fillings. We’ll cover a few basics (check out my Pasta 101 if you’d like to get a good primer) and then dive right into dough, fillings, and preparation. By the end of the class, you should be able to successfully make ravioli by hand and understand how to prepare it. We’ll be making at least one complete dish so that you can taste This class, taught at The Choke Cherry Tree by Chef Jess, is a hearty 2.5 hours and includes all of the materials & equipment you need. Helpful info: At least one of the ravioli fillings is vegetarian. Gluten-free option available - just let me know when you book. What’s pasta making without a little wine? We’ll have a bottle to share but please be 21 to partake.
