Healing with Organic, Herbal Infusions: Hands-On Workshop
Only 6 spots left! Join industry expert Marla Bosworth and learn how to make skin-nourishing and healing products with infused herbs. We will make body and lip balms as well as and body butters from scratch. This is a great class for massage therapists, spa owners, bath and body company owners, and anyone who wants to make incredibly good-for-your-body products. As a class we'll make a batch of luscious body butters. Body butters are wonderful for massages and for dry skin. They are made differently than typical creams and lotions (they do not contain water). You'll love the price markup on these products if you make natural skincare to sell. If you don't have a business, you'll love the money saving benefit of making your own bodycare products. Next, we'll formulate a batch of balms as we work with healing, infused herbs. We'll also create a versatile balm recipe for body and lips. We will cover the essentials of formulating, healing properties of plant oils, herbs and botanicals. Students will take home the following: 1 - 4 oz. Organic Herbal-Infused Whipped Body Butter 1 - Organic Herbal-infused Lip Balm 1 - 4 oz. Organic Herbal-infused Body Balm This class is open to beginner through advanced. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, recipes and a valuable list of my favorite places to buy supplies and equipment.
