Central Park @ Night Photo Safari®
Central Park can be a marvelous photography destination, even after dark. This workshop will focus on composition skills at night as well as the issues related to taking pictures in low light conditions. Night photography is challenging, but we will help make sure the only raccoons in your photographs are of the four legged variety! On this photo tour you will get the opportunity to photograph some of the most filmed locations in Central Park and the skyline. Although a DSLR is preferred, you may use any digital camera with manual overrides; you MUST bring a tripod. Don’t let sunset limit your photography; it is another world after dark. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of photographic knowledge from beginners to advanced hobbyists. (limit 8 participants per safari)
New York City Photo Safaris are led by professional photographers with a wide array of industry experience. We are first and foremost photographers; we have spent our careers pursuing photography. It goes without saying that we are passionate about it. The question is why and what are we passionate about? Perhaps the photo equipment? Photo gadgets are cool, but there's more to it than that. We want to share our vision. The opportunity to teach photography via a photo tour is an opportunity to share our view of the world. Our motto is: Turning Picture Takers Into Image Makers. So join us for a photo tour and let us help you!
