Touch is the first sense to develop when we are born. Yet most of our life is experienced through sight and sound. In this class, we take you back to the very beginning. Explore your sense of touch by sculpturing...without sight.
You will receive an introduction to basic clay sculpturing. Then you will sculpt...blindfolded! You will be given a subject to sculpt and using only your sense of touch and memory, you will create.
This session is not about the finished sculpture, but the process of feeling your way through a mental image. No sculpture experience necessary. Just your willingness to express yourself through touch.
At the end, you will get a photo of your sculpture to take home with you. Bring your own bottle of wine, friends, spouses, co-workers and enjoy the experience.

Imagine Unarthodox - a place where both kids and adults can connect with themselves in a judgement-free, creative environment.
We offer art classes that incorporate non-traditional art methods to fully stimulate all of the senses and promote self-expression in a fun, entertaining way. Our activities vary from Art and Wine sessions and experimental, one-of-a-kind art classes to therapeutic interdisciplinary workshops that will allow its participants to fully explore and unleash their creativity. A variety of creative engagements such as art and expressive body movement can positively impact emotions, attitudes, and beliefs which contribute to greater health and wellness for the individual. We believe that combining all art disciplines with an experimental twist not only produces therapeutic benefits but can also be tons of fun! And that's what we're all about...fun!
