Soy candles are a wonderful addition to a bath and body line - or join us to learn how to make them for your own personal use. They add warmth, fragrance and charm to your home with these candles.
Attendees will make container candles with a vegetable wax that is all-natural and easy to use. As in all of our workshops, we will be working with essential oils, not synthetic fragrance oils.
- Natural waxes and where to buy them
- How to choose wick sizes
- Container options
- How much essential oil to use
- How to test for safety, proper burn and "throw"
- How to label your candles
- Requirements for selling candles
- Selling points for customers
- The best suppliers from which to purchase
- The benefits of selling massage candles
You'll take home:
- 1 soy candle
- 1 soy massage candle
This is a hands-on class. If you have an existing bath and body business, you'll love how these products boast great markups. You can cross-sell these with the rest of your line to your customers.
This class is open to beginner through advanced. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, recipes and a valuable list of my favorite places to buy supplies and equipment.
