Leather Tooling for the Holidays!
Use Leather Tooling to Make Amazing Projects In this 3-hour course, you will learn the basics of leather tooling on vegetable tanned leather. Students will learn step by step how to draw, transfer, cut, tool, and oil to their project. During this class students will make their own set of drink coasters, perfect as a gift or for your own coffee table. Students are encouraged to design and cut out their own set and take home a truly unique set of objects. Course taught by Emily Boksenbaum, a leather tooling guru hailing from Chicago. She now lives in Ridgewood, Queens where she tools and constructs functional tooled leather objects. 1-2 sq ft of veg tan leather and tools included in the course. You will learn where to purchase some tools, and get to try out some of the teacher's in class.
