Have you ever wanted to create a painting on Canvas but lack the know how or tools to do so? This class is for you!
Each new artist is walked, step by step, through a pre-selected painting. Each artist receives all supplies and materials and a 16x20 canvas. Everyone is encouraged to add their own spark to their painting!
I patiently help all of our artists as we break down each selected painting to make it easier for everyone to achieve results. All beginning artists are able to leave the day of the class with their very own paintings. Hang it on your wall, give it to a friend or make it a special gift - the choice is yours! Small snacks, beverages, wine and/or beer are welcomed during our classes. Lets have fun and get creative!

My name is Susan Cruz and from 2006-2013 I have managed ceramic studios, hosting art parties and classes for both children and adults. All while managing a successful art studio I attended Pratt University receiving an Associates degree in Painting and Drawing where I then transferred to Baruch college to receive my bachelors in Business Management. My entire life has been influenced by art, coming from a very artistic family. We expressed ourselves through different mediums of art as well as music. In 2013 I opened Bee N Crafty, an independent creative art studio. From 2013-2014, my studio specialized solely in ceramic arts. In 2014 I decided to branch out and add additional mediums to our studio such as canvas painting and glass painting. I love people and watching our clients go through the artistic process and discover how everyone can be an artist. My goal teaching isn't to make a Picasso out of everyone that walks through the door, but to help teach techniques, create a warm environment, a form of therapy and build self confidence.
