Create Your Own Sneaker Design Its essential for any good designer to be able to express themselves through traditional, or modern techniques. Sketching is one of the designers most powerful tools that is able to speak volumes to its viewer. In this 3-hour Sneaker Sketching session you will learn the key footwear components and applicable industry terminology. You will practice outsole sketching, different styles of sneaker sketching and popular formats for sketchbooks. Michael Grey will show you his personal tricks to increase speed in sketching, and become more comfortable in the sketch phase! The next step after this course will be the technical specification class for Sneakers. Michael Grey is a Footwear designer, and shoemaker based in Brooklyn NY. Graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Industrial design. His line Michael Grey Footwear was created during his year long graduate studies in Firenze Italy at Polimoda. He has worked with companies like Keen, Under Armour, Dr Martins, Roberto Cavalli, and Levis. Michael's strength is in technical details used on traditional silhouettes with a modern edge.
