This private dining etiquette lesson covers all aspects of American and European dining etiquette and table manners. This is a great introductory and refresher course for anyone looking to brush up on their dining etiquette! Great for business people who host and attend clients dinners, and singles wanting to impress their dinner date. Also great for teens and new graduates!
In this course, participants will learn the art of formal and business dining over a 3-course dinner with wine (for attendees 21+):
- Learn exactly what to do in all stages and courses of upscale dining
- Responsibilities of an outstanding dinner host
- Navigating utensils, glassware, and table settings
- Do's and don'ts of eating specific foods
- Ordering and pairing wine
- Special considerations for fancy restaurants, upscale loungers, and country clubs
Price is all-inclusive of instruction, 3-course pre-fixe meal with one glass of wine (for attendees 21+), taxes, and gratuity.
Guests may also suggest an alternative restaurant at the instructor's discretion.

Modern Etiquette Coach
Maggie Oldham is a New York-based Modern Etiquette Coach. Through her workshops, coaching, and blog, she provides tools to successfully and confidently navigate a variety of settings–from upscale dining and business meetings to social gatherings. Her approach to etiquette is unique in its conversational teaching style and ease of implementation. Workshops like Science of Small Talk and Manners and Mimosas bring relevancy and lightheartedness to a field otherwise seen as outdated.
Maggie received a Business Administration degree from Saint Mary’s College, spent six years in the corporate world working at a large consulting firm, and in a global role in the operations and strategic divisions for a large medical device company.
Maggie furthered her etiquette training and education at the Institut Villa Pierrefeu Finishing School in Glion, Switzerland (2013) where she received certificates in The European Art of Dining and International Etiquette and Protocol. She received an Etiquette Consultant Certificate from IAP Career College (2014) and is currently a member of the International Association of Professional Etiquette Consultants. Experience in employee training and management positions has given Maggie the skills to help individuals excel in both the corporate and social worlds. She balances work and social life by spending time with friends, planning parties, enjoying wine tasting, attending red carpet events, playing tennis, and traveling.
