THE ART OF CREATING CUSTOM ESSENTIAL OIL BLENDS
This is a workshop on how to intuitively blend essential oils. You'll learn blending techniques from Master Essential Oil Alchemist and CEO of Back Porch Soap Company, Marla Bosworth. Marla will share 20 years of experience in this workshop to guide you in blending essential oils to create signature blends. You'll learn how to combine natural fragrances (essential oils, CO2s, absolutes, etc.) to your soaps and handmade skincare products. Custom blends creates demand for your products. Your customers will fall in love with your creation and as a result you bring them back to you for more! This is a hands-on class. Students will blend and experiment with a variety of essential oils. You'll take home two custom blends created by you! There is great demand for essential oil blends. These blends could lead to custom blend opportunities to work with feng shui experts, home designers, lightworkers and massage therapists looking for signature scents for their healing spaces. There is an energy and intention we will put into our blends. You will learn to create "blueprints" of a feeling and infuse it with our energy and botanicals (and more) from that area to capture that feeling for ourself (a reminder as we use the product later) or share with others (as gifts or in a product line). This is much deeper and sacred than just calling our incense "infused" or "infused with energy." This class is intended for essential oil enthusiasts, soapmakers, indie beauty makers, cosmetic makers, healers, lightworkers, massage therapists, yoga enthusiasts, and anyone interested in alchemy of essential oils. More of What Makes This Workshop Unique: Each student will bring out their inner alchemist by making their own stick and loose incense. You'll select wildcrafted botanicals as well as create your own essential oil blend. Marla creates high experential workshops - a holistic perspective of learning by transforming new information. If you've ever attended any of her classes you know the energy she creates is positive, supportive, educational and fun. Marla is the CEO of Back Porch Soap Company.
