About Your Host

Jess is a Chef, Cookbook Author, Herbalist, and outspoken food security and agriculture activist. She's the owner of Tin Canyon Farm, an Escargot & Mushroom farm, where she cultivates, cooks, and holds personal retreats. She draws her inspiration from her diverse cultural background, a family history with deep roots in food, and the natural mountain environment that surrounds her.

What we'll do

Let Chef Jess transport you to Sevilla, Spain where she lived as a little girl for this experiential class. The taste of some of those dishes lasted a lifetime and now you can learn to be the hit of your next get-together by learning how to create some of your own. In this 3 hour class, she'll show you how to make 5 tapas dishes, tips on how to serve, make-ahead tricks, along with a tasty sangria. At the end, we'll all enjoy the cuisine together. Everything is included so just bring yourself (and a friend!) and be sure to wear comfy shoes since we'll be standing for a good part of the class. Vegetarian-friendly.
