Partner Yoga with Troy Blume and Ellery Long
Join us for an accessible partner yoga sequence. Together we practice breathing, assisting, and flowing, with an introduction to acro yoga. Partner yoga develops trust, support, and communication. As a healing art the bonds of relationship are strengthened through verbal and non-verbal communication. Practicing cooperation, we create a playground for intimacy that empowers us to explore physical contact in ways that are safe and sacred. Partner Yoga is not for couples only – any two participants are welcome. [$60 per pair] Digital photos included.
Troy Blume is a Certified Yoga instructor; he received his level 1 certification through Yogaview, Chicago, 2014. Troy began practicing yoga in 2011, having an already active life of running, biking, and weightlifting. Working off the mat as a lab manager at a local college, he balances his weekly work routine with a steady yoga practice in the studio and at home. Yoga has helped Troy discover a profound strength and flexibility with psychological courage and humility that he wants to share that and help others discover it for themselves. Troy’s intentions are to guide others in their yoga practice, and help them create a path that will merge body with mind and health with happiness. Having a strong inversions and transitions practice, Troy will challenge his class through vinyasa sequences and provide opportunities that will advance the student’s practice at all levels.
