Join plant-based chef Yael Gutin of Girl Meets Plants in this hands-on exploration of the ancient practice of food preservation through pickling and fermentation. You will learn about the history of food preservation, the associated health benefits, and the differences between pickling and fermentation in this two-hour workshop. You will also make several of your own delicious pickles to take home and enjoy! Homemade pickles make the perfect snack, accompaniment to any dish, or thoughtful gift. Your reservation includes all of the ingredient used in the four different kinds of pickles you will create, as well as mason jars, and recipes.
