About Your Host
I own Inspire San Diego Studio. We host social art making workshops around town. Classes are 3 hours, we provide all the materials and they are instructed by professional, local artists. Classes range from collage to painting on canvas. All are meant for beginners to artists. Classes are taught at restaurants so guests can eat, drink and socialize while they make art. This is a great activity for travelers b/c they can sit and relax for a few hours away from site-seeing, take home what they make and meet new people.
What we'll do
SPIRIT BOX A spirit box is a fun little thing to make. It is a happy piece that expresses you, with a special hidden message inside that you can choose to share with others, or just keep to yourself. It hangs on the wall and opens in back. We will provide the box, face, papers and lots of little embellishments, but each one will be your interpretation and color theme. You are welcome to bring something that is significant to you in the form of a token or message that you would like to hide inside the box. My spirit box hangs in my kitchen and always brings a smile to my face and joy in my it reminds me to give. Please join us for this fun class! Class held at The Stamp Addict.
