Dichroic Glass Jewelry: Make Fused Glass Pendants & Earrings (half tray)
Make an unforgettable gift this Mother's Day! Give your mom something she will cherish forever, or bring her along and make something beautiful together. There is nothing quite like playing with colorful sparkly dichroic glass to get one's creative juices flowing! Use your imagination and a delightful assortment of glass to make window ornaments or custom jewelry such as pendants, earrings, brooches, key chains, or whatever your heart desires! Gather your friends, family, neighbors, running/book club/team, fellow parents, etc and spend an evening making gift-able and usable one-of-a-kind items and having some art play fun. This is also a terrific experience for teens. Class is 6:30 - 8:45 pm. Half Tray is approximately 2-6 pairs of earrings and/or 2-4 pendants. Includes glass and kiln time, but does not include jewelry findings (i.e. ear wires, chains, backing pins). Glass will fire overnight in the kiln and be ready for pickup within a week. Four to six participants per class. We meet in North Ballard, in my studio/showroom that doubles as an occasional Thai Restaurant! You'll see . . . This class is open to people 14 years of age and up. Feel free to bring snacks or non-alcoholic beverages! Note: Photo is of a full tray. This listing is for a half tray, so you will make half of what you see on the main image.
