Smitten by the aromas of Indian delicacies, but never quite got to understand how you can prepare Indian food yourself? Join this 3 hour hands on session with Meena Bhatia, a visiting mom from New Delhi. Honest, simple recipes handed over for generations come to life in this session, where you will learn the following dishes: 1. Paneer Pakoras - finger licking good cottage cheese fritters that taste heavenly on a rainy day when served with cilantro chutney. You can also opt for a vegan option. 2. Chole-bhature - straight from the streets of Delhi, you cannot go wrong with this tastes-as-good-as-it-looks recipe accompanied with a flavorful non-alocoholic Indian beverage made from rose extracts. Made with garbanzo beans, this is a protein packed meal that is great for those lazy Sunday brunches. Vegan variants available on request. At the end of the session, we will eat Indian style and we will talk about easy variations of these recipes, along with introducing you to other less heard, but equally tantalizing varieties of Indian food - the possibilities are endless! We will also simplify an Indian kitchen for you and will happily share how you can get started with ease and confidence. Handouts for the recipes will be provided at the end of the session.
