Nooksack River Rafting Trip

Where: Approximately 2.5 hours north of Seattle, WA and only 1.5 hours south of Vancouver, BC The Skinny on Rafting the Spunky Nooksack River The Nooksack is a 2-part river adventure; the first half is tight, technical class III rapids. The second half mellows out a bit, providing some rapids, with some beautiful views of Mt. Baker, eagles, deer, and an occasional bear. • Narrow, twisting, steep and fast gorge, followed by a wider valley flow • Surrounded by incredible views of the North Cascades, including the mighty Mt. Baker • Fir Drop, Turtle Rock and Landslide rapids • Wildlife watching: see eagles soar high above the Douglas Fir and Western Cedar trees and spot deer in the woods • Close to Bellingham, WA for outstanding food, shopping, art and entertainment Riverside Lunch After working up a hearty appetite on the river, we end the Nooksack river rafting trip with our famous riverside buffet lunch, featuring: • Seasoned Chicken on the grill • Green Salad • Watermelon • Bean Salad River Highlights Near Bellingham, WA 2.5 hours north of Seattle Very close to Mt. Since 1982 River Recreation has been whitewater river rafting all over the state of Washington, but is based on the banks of the Wenatchee River. Besides the Wenatchee River, near Leavenworth and Lake Chelan, trips are provided on six other rivers in Washington State. River Recreation offers a white water experience for everyone.
