SIGN UP NOW FOR THE JUNE 2017 CLASS: Stand-Up Comedy 7pm-9:30pm (four meetings) Wednesdays, 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28 First three meetings are at a community center Final meeting is at Comedy Underground In this free-wheeling Seattle stand-up comedy class, open to total beginners, students will learn to learn to unleash their inner funny with confidence and skill. You’ll learn proven ways to make strangers laugh, plus proper microphone technique, use of the stage, breathing and anxiety-reduction skills, centering and body language. Seattle has a booming stand-up comedy community, so there will be lots of opportunity to continue to use what you learn even after the class has concluded. We will also explore finding your personal sense of humor and “voice.” This class has FOUR meetings. (The tuition includes all four.) Each meeting is 2.5 hours long, so there are ten hours total.
