Difficulty: Class III/III+ April through early July and Class II/II+ late July through August. Ideal Whitewater Rafting For: Adventure seekers, first-time rafters, families, wedding parties, group adventures, team-building activities. * The Wenatchee River water level and intensity is high in May, June and early July. As the water level comes down in Mid-to-late July, so does the intensity of the rapids. The later in the spring and summer, the more tame the river becomes. The Wenatchee is rated class 3 / 3+ early in the season, and usually mellows out to class 2 / 2+ by mid-July. In August, the Wenatchee river is pretty mellow, great for swimming, and younger children. With over 300 days of sunshine a year, the Wenatchee river is your destination for great white water, hot, sunny days, and beautiful scenery.
