Waterfront Sketch Social
Ready, Set, Sketch! Join me as we explore the historic and scenic waterfront near the North Beach area of San Francisco. We'll people watch, take snap shots, and lay down some preliminary sketches. After we've collected source material we'll head back to a neighborhood gallery to have some snacks and continue to work on drawings based on the photographs we have taken. The workshop price includes materials. All you need to bring is comfy shoes for strolling, the willingness to explore and a device for taking photographs that you can view comfortably.
Dawline-Jane Oni-Eseleh is an Oakland based visual artist whose current work is focused primarily on the shifting urban landscape. An avid observer and prolific photographer, she employs a vast catalog of visual notes and memories to create her work. A lover of materials and process, Dawline-Jane uses a range of media including relief print making, watercolor, pen and ink and encaustic. Dawline-Jane's work has been exhibited across the Bay Area and as far way as Japan.
